Proctor High School Drama Club Shined Bright in Mamma Mia!

This past weekend, Proctor High School’s talented Drama Club took the stage for an incredible production of Mamma Mia! The students hard work, dedication, and passion lit up the stage! The show had the audience singing and dancing along - both in the Proctor auditorium and in cars on the drive home!

A huge thank you to our amazing community for the support, from attending the performances to cheering on our incredible drama students.

Congratulations to the cast, crew, teachers, and everyone involved in making this show such a huge success! Bravo! We can't wait for the next show!

We are proud to fund the Be A Buddy Club at Donovan MS through our 21st Century Community Learning Center Program. We are also providing decorations for their Buddy Dance on June 13th.

From the Utica City School District Facebook Page:

The "Buddy Club" at Donovan Middle School allows DMS students to interact and bond with each other in ways that might not otherwise be possible.

Through the club's advisor, Francesca Moss, members meet twice a week after school to create activities, plan events, and learn more about students with disabilities. In addition, nearly every day, you can find Mrs. Moss and some of her Buddy Club students in the Adaptive and STEP special education classes, working with those students on crafts, lessons, and simply being a kind friend.

The Buddy Dance will be held on June 13th and all of the involved students will have a chance to celebrate their year together!

: Thank you to Mrs. Pedulla

We are so proud of the 21st Century Community Learning Center students that performed in the JFK Theater and Performing Arts play "One Magic Kiss: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" We helped to not only provide the funding for this, but we supplied many of the costumes for this play.
